Spring Creek 04:29
Spring creek blue eyed woman what do you want to be. (x2) Sundays in the garden she is often seen Sitting tending roses in the garden green Soaking up the sunshine in this summer dream Spring creek blue eyed woman what do you want to be. (x2) Barefoot by the water, cool breeze in her hair Walking up the shoreline, gliding on the air No footprints left behind her is she really there Spring creek blue eyed woman what do you want to be. (x2) Spring creek blue eyed woman… You’ve gotta set your spirit free.

I’ll take the red eye, I’ll take the red eye and the crow. I’ll go wherever, I’ll go whenever I need to go. But in the meantime, but in the meantime I don’t know. You’ll think of something, you’ll think of something you always do. Chorus: It’s not a burden, no it’s no burden to be burning for a better view. There’s part I’m learning, part I’m earning, part that’s wearing down my shoes. When the road is even and the path is beaten down like it’s a street – Leave your feet behind/take to the skies. I’m made of diction, I’m made of diction against prose. My eyes are limits, my eyes are limits to be broken. I’d love you flightless. I’d love you like it’s overdue. Chorus/Bridge: You bring the autumn. You bring the autumn. I’ll bring the snow. It’s not what I see. No. It’s what you need the most. I’ll take the red eye, I’ll take the red eye and the crow.

Like a Stone 03:50
Please open your hymnal/to page 365 Their ain’t a criminal/that God can’t find. You ain’t the one that can hide you’re not the one that can so Bow down your lowly head, walk into the light God is all knowing said look in your eyes soul is spiritualized, soul is spiritual. Pre-chorus: Their ain’t no preacher gonna come around here and tell you Johnny Cash was your savior. Their aint nobody in the middle of the night gonna pull you out of that river. Oh no, no, no…. Chorus: You make it so hard to remember, but I don’t forget you’ve got to forgive her. You give her enough to forget, but I don’t remember much of my scriptures. You make it so hard to remember but I don’t forget you’ve got to forgive her. Yeah you’ve gotta or you sink to the bottom like a stone. (x2) La da da da da da (x2) Well, there are the sheep in the fold/I’m on the boondock planks. Can’t do what I’m told though/that ain’t the way of saints. Bet your faith that it ain’t with that kind of grace. Wilting Rose 04:08
Sweet and low, sweet and low/That’s the way of the wilting rose. (x2) So it goes, so it goes. How easy and quick our blood flows So it goes, so it goes. How easy and thick our blood flows… Out of my veins and my guts and I’m torn up in the thorns and the thicket and I’m Rough, I’m roughed up. I’m tangled, but am I tougher than a scarecrow? Cuz I’m flesh, present tense, fading, living with the consequence And my breath is gasping, sidewalks everywhere are cracking. (x2) Sidewalks everywhere are cracking. Oh, oh. So it goes. So it goes. (x2) Oh, oh. Hollow out and ring that bell. Oh, oh. Lay me down my seventh floor, Lord I’m coming Home, home. So it goes. So it goes. Oh, oh. So it goes. So it goes.

Oh my lover, Oh my lover I carried you down to the cold black water. x2 I watched the sun sink into the canopy, it’s hard to see the forest through the trees. It’s hard to see anything, I hardly see anything. I can’t even see my feet. and I step on stones and I’m kicking rocks to get across the creek With you my love, with you my love asleep, heavy and deep, Heaven will keep ya. With you my love, with you my love asleep, heavy and deep, Heaven will keep ya. Oh my lover, Oh my lover I carried you down to the cold black water. x2 I heard the river rolling and raging, beating the boulders with a hammer of thunder with a fist that could smite me in the sun in the summer. In the sun, every summer. The time is coming love and the oncoming flood will swiftly carry us under Hold tight my dear, hold tight and lightly that might be lightning Hold tight my dear, hold tight and lightly that might be lightning Oh my lover, Oh my lover I carried you down to the cold black water. x2

I am holding my breath. Sure that if I breathe this whole structure will come crumbling down all around me. I have heard a voice and I have heard a sound. I have seen the same damn buildings and they have been torn down. Chorus: x2 I still hear the echo Annie as your breathing out and in Keep on banging the piano like the world will never end. I’m containing messes all within my reach. Is she painting them as daisies in my eulogy? I have heard her singing. I have heard her voice Rising up to touch the ceiling and crashing down by choice. Chorus: x2/Bridge I am sure I’m sweeping thoughts into a fan to watch them swirl and settle and catch them when I can I have been driven. Oh. I have left a few clues Ritual Armageddons in search of maroon. Chorus: x2 I am holding my breath. Sure that if I breathe this whole structure will come crumbling down all around me.
